DODOcase iPad 2 case review

Traditional iPad 2 cases always cover the device's sleek aluminum and glass body with cheap plastic, silicone or nylon. But DODOcase provides an elegant alternative to them. Their iPad 2 case is handcrafted by book binding artisans in San Francisco, just using natural materials.

DODOcase uses traditional book binding techniques, so it can bring back the primal pleasure of hardback books. If you close the case, it is. confused for a Moleskine notebook.

This case matchs the exact curvature of the iPad 2. Its bamboo cover and sides protects the iPad 2 from bumps and bruises. When you put your iPad inside the DODOcase, all the ports and buttons around the edge of the iPad are accessible. Some other third party headphones with larger plugs will not work out of the box.

The case can be folded open and nicely used as an iPad 2 stand. It can prop the iPad up at approximately 60-70 degrees angle that is great for watching movies or viewing photos. You can also fold the cover completely over the back for typing on the touch screen.

This case sells for $59.95 for the Red/Sky/Blue/Charcoal/Green version, or for $5 more you can choose from the others. Surprisingly Affordable!

Great case for those who do not carry their iPad everywhere they go. If you use your iPad all day and day, the case is not durable enough.
